One of my most challenging projects completed to date. I took on completion of the award winning 'Spa Nalai' from the concrete pour through opening day. The amenities were located on the 25th floor of the over 90 story tower. Along with the superintendent, I handled all coordination and scheduling of MEP rough-in for the pool, spa, steam engines, fitness rooms, men's & women's locker rooms. I also completed buy out of interior finishes and coordination with the curtain wall enclosure of the space. This is where I first took further interest in the Curtain wall and Glazing component of High Rise construction.

I provided customer support in design review, application of Sika's embedding grout for use in cantilevered base channel support of laminated glass barriers over and storefronts 12ft high and almost 4" thick. During construction I provide inspections for adherence to plans and product guidelines for warranty purposes.

Early in my career working in South Florida and for John Moriarty & Associates, knowledge & management of all 16 divisions as well coordination of all trades was expected. I worked on this project from foundation through closeout and handled turnover of the completed units to the owner/developer.

In addition to the technical management responsibilities of my role with Sika, I was often called upon to contribute and in many cases help to close the sale. Working closely with the marketing team, we arranged customer engagement demonstrations, Lunch & Learn sessions, a nationwide training and demo of new methods and practices. Customer facing and mitigating their concerns while addressing the immediate impact was a key component of my role.
